When we edited our OTS we realised that it was an improvement compared to our prelim. In our prelim it includes two people having a simple conversation between each other, at this point when we were filming we didn't really have much filming locations. As you can see in our prelim video the room was quite small which meant that we couldn't widen our variety of camera angles and shots. With the background being so dull and boring, this meant that it wasn't interesting to watch. In our prelim we also didnt care much for how we was filming either because of how the filming wasn't in time of when Tyler was walking across the room.
However in our OTS we were able to film out of school as well as in school which meant that our shots were a lot more interesting because of the different location settings we had and the different cast in it to. Other things that we could do in our OTS that we couldn't do in our prelim was having a wider range of use with our tripod and camera. This helped improve our OTS a lot because of how much we could do different camera shots and angles such as close ups and long distance shots. When it came to editing our OTS we took good care of when insuring that the times of each clip was put in the correct place and how the lighting was and also the speed in the camera, in our prelim we didn't really take much care of that.
When it came to using a tripod in our OTS it shows that there is a lot of improvement compared to our prelim. In our prelim we didn't really use the opportunity to use the amount techniques that can be made with a tripod. For example, we can make a high angle shot by extending the tripod which makes the high angle shot along with it being steady throughout filming rather than the camera shaking from doing a hand held shot.
