We based our opening title sequence on the running clip from 'Shrooms', this meant that we needed to film in places such as the woods, old buildings, prisons or run down asylums. For this we tried going to old buildings but as a group we thought that it wasn't the right type of location. We then tried an old prison, we decided to use it as a mental asylum because of how we based our character suits more to escaping an asylum rather than a prison. We thought this would give the effect of people with mental health issues being kept like prisoners, we liked the filming from the prison and so we thought we would use this as it was effective and suited to our storyline.
When we started to film the mental patient escaping the asylum we decided to film these shots in a wood near by to where we was filming. This made our running shots a lot more effective because of how it shows that the character has been imprisoned away from any communication with people. Another reason as to why it was good with filming in the woods is because of how it is spaced out quite well but the set out suited to our filming.
